Job Description
At Lumenalta, we create impactful software solutions that drive innovation and transform businesses. Since 2000, we’ve partnered with visionary leaders to build cutting-edge tech, solve complex challenges, and deliver results faster through our elite teams and tech-driven approach. Join us in shaping the future of technology.
We’re looking for a Fullstack Generalist with strong JavaScript and Python skills to lead development on a data-focused engineering project. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both frontend and backend work, enjoys tackling data ingestion challenges, and can optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
What You’ll Do:
Backend (Python, AWS Lambda) – Develop and maintain lightweight data ingestion pipelines, pulling logs and third-party data via APIs (especially ServiceNow), and structuring it for reporting.
Frontend (JavaScript, Grafana) – Build custom dashboard components, optimize queries from multiple data sources, and ensure dashboards load quickly and stay up to date.
DevOps & CI/CD – Set up and maintain pipelines, automate deployments, and help streamline infrastructure.
Generalist Engineering Work – Fill gaps where needed, whether that’s data modeling, light infrastructure work, or scripting automation.
Tech Stack:
JavaScript (Grafana customizations, dashboard components)
Python (data ingestion, backend scripting, AWS Lambda functions)
ServiceNow API experience (big plus—many integrations pull from it)
AWS, Lambda, Logstash (nice to have; these handle data movement)
CI/CD & DevOps (first 4 months are DevOps-heavy before shifting toward ETL & data work)
Who You Are:
A fullstack engineer who enjoys solving data-related challenges and working across the stack.
Comfortable with lightweight data ingestion rather than deep Spark/Airflow pipelines.
Experienced with Grafana dashboards and optimizing them for performance.
Familiar with ServiceNow integrations (or willing to ramp up quickly).
Able to adapt to changing project needs—from DevOps-heavy early stages to more ETL-focused work later.
Why Lumenalta?
Work on meaningful, impactful projects.
Collaborate with a talented, supportive team
